		ABS Anti-lock Braking System The ABS system senses if a wheel is about to lock up and eases the brake pressure on that wheel so it starts rotating again. As a result, the potential stopping distance is minimised while steering ability is retained.

		Bi-xenon headlamps with automatic levelling Bi-xenon headlamps give a broader low beam and better kerbside visibility. For high beam, the bi-xenon lamps are supplemented with halogen lights that give a long and broad throw. Beam length is adjusted automatically to maximise capacity and to reduce the risk of blinding oncoming traffic.

		Cargo guard Metal guard for mounting in line with the rear seat backrest. Separates the passenger compartment from the luggage compartment. Gives the occupants added protection from shifting load in a collision. Easy to fit and remove. Can be combined with the cargo space divider.

		Cargo space divider Divides the luggage compartment into separate areas. Convenient when travelling with a pet. Easy to fit and remove. Can only be fitted together with the cargo guard.

		Head/thorax side airbags, front Two-part full-height side airbags are fitted as standard in the front seats. They are inflated in two stages to match the seat occupant's body movements in a side collision. First the lower section inflates, cushioning the torso and arm, followed by the upper section to help protect the head.

		Immoboliser The advanced immobiliser function makes it virtually impossible to start the car without the right key.

		Integrated child seat An integrated child seat is available for children aged between 3 and 10 or weighing 15-36 kg. The seat fulfils the needs and requirements of older children for a safer ride. It is used in combination with the three-point seatbelt.

		Locking remote control You can remotely operate the central locking with buttons in the car key. Rolling codes make it virtually impossible for an unauthorised person to copy the code of your remote control.

		Saab Anti-theft Protection alarm Reacts if someone tries to enter the car or break a window. The alarm is remote controlled via buttons in the key. It also includes a ?panic-function? whereby pressing a button triggers the alarm. The large number of rolling codes helps to prevent unauthorised copying of the code.

		Seatbelt pre-tensioners, front The front seatbelts feature automatic pre-tensioners and load limiters. In the event of a collision, the belt is first tightened, then released slightly to reduce the risk of injuries on the upper body.
